A Guatemalan organization dedicated to the prevention, sanction and erradication of violence against women in Guatemala, Fundacion Sobrevivientes (the Survivor’s Foundation) is a non-profit social-service organization dedicated to helping the primary and secondary survivors of violence against women obtain psychological treatment and legal counsel.

With the supports of psychologists and lawyers, two women created the organization for all women and girls who, like them, sought justice in unfavorable conditions.

Objectives:
To contribute to the prevention, sanction and erradication of violence against women and children in Guatemala.
To seek justice on behalf of women and children who have been victims of violence.
To create a center specializing in supporting women and children who have been victims of violence.
